Ripped From Their Home…

In the state of Arkansas, children are being taken from their biological parents. Why you may ask? Because if you are a gay/lesbian parent in this state, they can take your children under the cohabitation law. All it takes is someone, not even a family member, to petition the court. Especially in Benton County.

How do I know this? It happened to me. And I am not the only one! I have friends that this has happened to as well. And if you have been divorced, and you are now in a gay/lesbian relationship, they can force you to keep two residences in order to just have visitation with your own children, under this same cohabitation law. Arkansas will not let the gay community marry, but they will punish you and your family for cohabitating. And, the thousands of foster children and children that need to be adopted, do not have a prayer in this state after the passing of ACT 1.

Yes, in the state of Arkansas, if you are gay/lesbian and have given birth to children, they are only one signature away from being ripped from your arms. And, with that you will also be forced to pay child support, insurance, and any other expenses that they see fit. It does not matter if you are a pillar of the community and do charity work. If you are gay/lesbian, you have no rights in this state!

Why do I “Give a Damn”? Because my children must always know that their mom was not silenced! I will continue to use my voice and make others GIVE A DAMN!!!
