It’s Just as Right!

So my name is Morgan. I have recently discovered something about myself that I am not ashamed to admit, I AM A BISEXUAL! I don’t care what people think. Regardless if you are straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, and anything in between you should not be ashamed. We are who we are. If you are comfortable in your own skin then I hope you don’t let another’s misguided conceptions about your sexual orientation affect you. Like Lily Allen says, because who can say it better than this, “So you say it’s not okay to be gay. Well, I think you’re just evil. You’re just some racist who can’t tie my laces. Your point of view is medieval”.

After all aren’t we all just trying to find love in this world? That’s what drives us all, that’s a connection we have with every other person on the planet. We all deserve love. It shouldn’t matter if we find it with someone of the opposite sex or the same sex. We ALL have the right to be with someone who makes us happy. It just doesn’t make sense to me why people can’t understand that!

Even if someone doesn’t agree with it they don’t have the right to TRY to make me feel like I am doing something wrong. I’m not. They are in the wrong! Because haven’t we all heard, on more than one occasion, that if we don’t have anything nice to say that we shouldn’t say anything at all? That is something that is drilled into every child’s head because no truer words have been said. So what happens to us when we grow up.

As a child you love unconditionally, no one gets left out for being “different” because essentially we are all the same, but we are all different. There is something about everyone that another person can find and disagree with. But it seems the only thing that is a wrong kind of different is not being straight. But my hope for the future is that the people who find it wrong, will realize it’s just as right as being straight.

I will do what I can to make my dream future a reality because I do GIVE A DAMN!
