Hard Times In Catholic School
When I was in 7th grade, I attended a Catholic private school. Before that year, I knew nothing about being gay, lesbian, any of it. I was so unaware. I had this classmate that started all these rumors saying I was a lesbian because I was pretty much a loner. I only had two friends: a girl who is obsessed with the Japanese culture and a girl who was proud to be a bisexual.
He tormented me and everyone was in on it. After he left the school 8th grade year, people still never let it go. I didn’t tell anyone about it until one of my classmates told my mom. My mom raised hell about it. After that I have become so appreciative to all sexualities. I embrace gays, lesbian, bisexuals, all of them more than I do my own family sometimes. I am ready for them to be treated like they belong. They are worth something in this world.
