I’m in love with this beautiful young woman. I have been for the past 5 years of my life. My mom on the other hand thinks my interests can be tweaked and adjusted. I’m madly in love with my girlfriend, my mom is Catholic but is fairly accepting. But she does not accept my girlfriend.
I met this young woman online 5 years ago, my mom thinks it was a mistake. Just today my mom admitted she is upset at the fact that I am in love with a woman. My mom tells me she loves me. But does she? She tells me what to do, when to do it, and how I should be looking into other things and hanging around other people. I don’t mind straight guys, some are really cute but no, I can’t drop my girlfriend. Love is love. If my mom truly loved me like she says, she’d have to love my girlfriend too right?
I give a damn about equality and love for what it is. My girlfriend and I are both people, my girlfriend is no different from me or you.
